Since 2004, Attorney Sean L. Robertson has concentrated his legal practice in the areas of complex estate planning, asset protection, family law, divorce, and corporate and business law. He is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law, in Chicago, and primarily focuses his practice in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court in Will County.

Attorney Robertson assists clients with family law matters such as child custody (also known as allocation of parental responsibilities), spousal maintenance, and small business divorce matters. He is a skilled negotiator and litigator helping those with custody issues involving parenting time (visitation), parental relocation, and post-divorce litigation. He also has significant experience litigating marital asset disputes involving pensions and other retirements accounts.

Oftentimes, complex divorce matters involve multifaceted marital and non-marital assets or prenuptial agreements. Divorce and asset protection are also often interconnected when families and business owners want to transfer their assets from one generation to the next. Additionally, many family business owners want to protect their estates and companies from the risks of lawsuits, judgments, and professional malpractice concerns. Attorney Robertson has litigated simple to complex, multi-million dollar cases involving business disputes, partnership and breach of contract litigation, foreclosure lawsuits, and business fraud complaints.

Attorney Sean L. Robertson often represents physicians, dentists, business owners, attorneys, judges, real estate investors, and other business owners and professionals with their legal concerns. He has significant experience in planning simple to complex multi-million dollar estates and assisting closely-held business interests with multiple employees and locations.
